Happy New Year
I’m a few days late with my opening blog of the year, but it’s been a really busy time for me – and an exciting one for my family, too. We’ve just bought our first home, and life has been a sea of cardboard boxes! Finding them, filling them, then emptying them again. (And trying not to lose too many in-between!) Of course, we haven’t thrown any away. Let’s face it, with the rising cost of living, we’ll be living in one by the end of the month!
2022 is already shaping up to be my busiest yet as a working magician. I’ve spent much of the holiday period learning new routines so as to keep my act fresh and exciting over the coming year. With Covid starting its long retreat (fingers crossed!), we all need a shot in the arm. But the fun kind now – not another vaccine. I have several wedding fairs lined up and jobs as far away as York, Saltburn and even Sheffield. Closer to home, I’ll be at Ripley Castle, Rudding Park and – one of the highlights of my coming year – providing close-up magic in October for the Dean’s Banquet at Ripon Cathedral.
Make Your 2022 Magical
If you’re hoping to celebrate a special occasion in 2022, magic is always a terrific way to make your day stand out. I’m already booking up fast throughout the year, so if you were thinking of hiring a magician, why not give me a call and see what I can do for you.
And remember, though you’ve only just taken down your decorations for 2021, it’s never too early to book me for your Christmas 2022 event.
And with that, I hope you all had a lovely Christmas and I wish you all a happy, healthy and magical New Year!
